Accessibility Statement

Last updated September 2026

I want everyone to be able to use this website and to work with me comfortably, whatever tools or accommodations you use. This page explains what the site does to support that, where it may still fall short, and how to reach me if something gets in your way.

Our standard

This site is built to meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines, the widely used standard for accessible websites. It is reviewed against those guidelines as pages are added or changed.

What the site does

  • Readable contrast. All text and background color pairs meet at least the 4.5:1 contrast ratio, and meaning is never conveyed by color alone.
  • Keyboard navigation. Every link, button, menu, and form field can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline. A “Skip to content” link is the first item on every page.
  • Screen-reader support. Pages use proper landmarks and a logical heading order, meaningful images have descriptive alt text, decorative images are hidden from assistive technology, and every form field has a label.
  • Comfortable reading. Body text is set at 18px with generous line spacing, and the layout reflows on phones and at up to 200% zoom without side-scrolling.
  • Large targets. Buttons and tap targets are at least 44px tall.
  • No surprises. There is no auto-playing media, no flashing content, and nothing that moves unless you ask it to.

Known limitations

The booking scheduler and payment checkout are provided by third-party services embedded in this site. I choose providers that publish their own accessibility commitments, but I can’t fully control how those tools behave. If you have trouble booking or paying online, contact me directly and I’ll take care of it by phone or email.

Sessions are flexible, too

Coaching sessions are available by phone, by Zoom (with closed captions available), or community based in-person in Pittsburgh. If you need a particular format, extra time, written summaries, or any other accommodation to take part fully, just tell me — before your first call or at any point after.

Report a barrier or ask for help

If any part of this site is hard to use, or you’d like content in another format, please let me know. I’ll do my best to fix the problem promptly and to get you what you need in the meantime.

It helps if you can tell me which page you were on, what you were trying to do, and which browser or assistive technology you were using — but a quick note is fine.
