Genna Marie Life Coaching is a solo practice based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This page explains, in plain language, what information this website collects, why, who it’s shared with, and how to ask me to delete it. If anything here is unclear, email GennaMarieLifeCoach@gmail.com and I’ll answer.

What I collect

Contact form. Your name, email address, phone number (if you include it), and your message.
Booking and intake. When you book a free call or a session through the online scheduler, it collects your name, email, phone number, the time you chose, and your answers to the intake questions (for example, your reason for seeking coaching, your goals, and how you prefer to meet).
Payments. Session and package payments are handled by Stripe. This website never sees or stores your card number. I receive only a confirmation of the payment, the amount, and the name and email you used.
Site analytics. Basic, aggregated information about how the site is used — pages visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what device type they use. This is not tied to your name.

I don’t collect anything else in the background, and I don’t buy data about you from anyone.

Why I collect it

To reply to your message and schedule your call or session.
To prepare for our first conversation using what you share on the intake form.
To take payment and keep simple records of what was paid for.
To send you appointment confirmations and reminders.
To understand which pages are useful so I can improve the site.

I will not add you to a mailing list or send marketing email unless you have clearly asked for it.

Who I share it with

I use a small number of trusted services to run the practice. Each one receives only what it needs to do its job:

The online scheduler — to book calls and sessions and send reminders.
The payment processor (Stripe) — to process payments securely.
My email provider — to receive and reply to your messages.
Video calling (Zoom) — for remote sessions, if you choose that option.

I do not sell, rent, or trade your information — ever. I share it only as described above, or if the law requires me to (see the next section).

Coaching conversations are confidential

What you share in coaching stays between us. I keep everything you tell me in sessions — spoken or written — confidential unless you give me written permission to share it, or unless I am required by law to do so. The limits, which are the same ones set out in the client agreement, are:

a serious threat of harm to yourself or to someone else, or
a court order or other legal requirement.

Coaching is not therapy or medical care, and coaching records are not medical records. I keep session notes brief and store them securely.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses only the cookies needed for basic site analytics and for the embedded scheduler and payment tools to work. There are no advertising cookies and no tracking across other websites. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though the scheduler and payment embeds may not.

How long I keep it

Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to reply and follow up. Booking, intake, and payment records are kept while you are a client and for a reasonable period afterward for bookkeeping and tax purposes, then deleted.

How to ask for a copy or deletion

You can ask me at any time to tell you what information I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email GennaMarieLifeCoach@gmail.com from the address you used with me and I will take care of it within 30 days. Some payment records may need to be kept for tax purposes even after other information is deleted; I’ll let you know if that applies.

Children

This site and my coaching services are for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted here for at least 30 days.
